ABOUT MEADOWSWEET

EMMA DIXON

I started working as a florist 11 years ago, and although I loved the floristry, I wanted to be more connected to where the flowers were coming from and how they were produced. So I made the decision to start growing the flowers I used.

I started Meadowsweet Flowers & Floristry in 2015 on a small plot of land on the Dorset and Somerset border and have recently started growing on three acres at Haye Farm in Devon as well.

I have also worked as an organic gardener at River Cottage since 2012 and at Trill Farm Garden since 2020.

LUCY SAVILLE

I became interested in community food growing whilst doing corporate work in London.

My passion for plants led me to the South West to undertake two farming traineeships and develop my interest agroecology.

I have been an organic grower since 2017 and in 2021 began ornamental kitchen gardening at Parnham Park.
